What problems count as urgent or emergency care?

Emergencies include breathing difficulty, collapse, severe bleeding, seizures, toxin exposure, uncontrolled vomiting or diarrhoea, bloat, heatstroke, broken bones, and difficulty calving or giving birth. Sudden lameness, eye injuries, or painful wounds are also urgent. If you’re unsure, call us, and we’ll guide you.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes. Walk-ins are assessed on arrival and triaged based on urgency. If another critical case is being treated, there may be a short wait, but we will keep you updated and prioritise your animal’s safety.

What happens after hours?

We provide an on-call emergency service outside normal hours. If you have an after-hours emergency, contact the clinic phone number, and you’ll be directed to the veterinarian on call. Depending on the case, you may be asked to bring your animal in immediately.

Can you perform emergency surgery in-house?

Yes. We can carry out emergency procedures such as foreign body surgery, C-sections, and other life-saving operations on site, supported by nurses on call and 24/7 monitoring for hospitalised patients.

Calm, Clear Support in a Crisis
