Angus has been caring for pets in the Southern Highlands for 15 years. He has grown up in vet hospitals and is a second generation vet, following in the footsteps of his father in caring for animals.

Angus graduated from the University of Sydney in 2001 and began working in the Hunter Valley. He then moved to the UK working in numerous rural practices for 6 years. He eventually moved back to Sydney where he worked at Ku-Ring-Gai Vet Hospital in the North Shore. During this time he completed his Masters of Veterinary Studies through Murdoch University concentrating on Small Animal Internal Medicine and Emergency/Critical Care.

He realised that the city life was not for him and moved the Southern Highlands in 2010. He bought into partnership at Bowral Veterinary Hospital and helped to transform it into one of the premier hospitals in the region.

Angus has now joined the team at Southern Highlands Vet Centre and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in treating pets of the Southern Highlands.

Angus loves all areas of internal medicine, diagnostic imaging has a particular interest in canine assisted reproduction. He has completed further studies in airway surgery (BOAS), trying to improve the lives of pets with breathing problems. He has also completed further studies in acupuncture and reptile medicine.

Outside work, Angus loves spending time with his wife Genevieve and is kept busy chasing his two young boys Teddy and Hugo. He loves camping, travelling and spending time with his dogs, Otto a German Shorthaired Pointer, Dashiel a big shaggy cross breed and Saffy a very active working Cocker Spaniel, who he rehomed from a bomb detection program.
